Ryan made a special request yesterday for me to make him some cookies. I got this recipe from a friend and thought I'd try it. I usually make AND LOVE chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, but these ones I made yesterday were SO yummy! I keep telling Ryan that I made some dang good cookies. Here's the recipe...give it a try.
3/4 cup butter (softened)
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 3/4 cup flour
milk chocolate chips (NOT semisweet)
Important tips:
- cream butter and sugars in kitchenaid for a few minutes (3-4)
- mix eggs and vanilla in separate bowl. don't mix for too long. add to kitchenaid and cream.
- mix other ingredients (except choc. chips) in separate bowl and add to mixture in kitchenaid.
- add milk chocolate chipes
- bake @ 300 for 15 minutes (I actually baked them for 18 minutes because I made big ones.)
