I just created an Etsy shop! Check it out here... I know...I don't have any babies yet, but hey...I really like making this stuff and it's SO popular right now. Thought I might try and fund my new hobby, sewing...and crafting! I don't have many things listed yet, but I'll be working on that in the future.

Craft Crap
Yes, I'm still in craft mode and keep finding new projects I want to make and I'm stalking etsy and a bunch of craft blogs with free tutorials. Yesterday I found this idea to make these cards to Father's day, which is coming up all too soon....where has this year gone?! My father and my father-in-law will be receiving these and here is a link to a video on YouTube with instructions on how to make it. It's SO easy!
Sorry, my camera isn't the best. I just have my little Canon point and shoot to work with.
I'm also in the process of making these basket liners to make all my baskets look a little better. I've finished a few so far and this is is the finished product. The tutorial is here on Make it and Love it. I was surprised at how easy this was.
And the following pictures are just for kicks. We were at my parents a few Sunday's ago for dinner and Brecken, my two-year-old niece, was sitting on Papa's shoulders. Doesn't she just have the cutest little crack? Oh to be a two-year-old again and not have to care about anything or what people think.

Come and knock on my door...

The shelf Ryan put in my laundry room. It's SO great to have a handy man!

This little nook is on your right as you walk in. Just past the laundry room.

One Year...We Made It!
Yesterday Ryan and I celebrated our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! It was a great day. I told Ryan before that he was in charge of planning it. :) We decided we'll take turns planning it out. I must say, he did a fantastic job! It really all started Friday when I got off work. He called and told me he broke the light in our bedroom while trying to fix the rails on our bed (they kept popping out everytime Ryan or I got on the bed) and that he needed me to run to Lowe's and see the prices to replace it. Long story short and after my patience was WAY TOO thin, I came home to a few surprises....Ryan had put in a ceiling fan in our bedroom and an above the range microwave while I was at work. I was SO excited!!!! I've wanted both since our bedroom gets a little warm at night and I have absolutely NO counter space in my kitchen and my current microwave took up half of it. Saturday, the REAL anniversary day, I woke up early and went to the gym, he was kind enough to let me go. He wouldn't tell me where we were going really at any point during the day, he'd just start driving in one direction, give me some lame story as to why we were headed in that direction, and then just pull up to the place we were going. We went to Callie's for breakfast. I had the 'pitcher's mound'....SO GOOD! Next we headed off to get massages! I've wanted one for SO long and it was Ryan's FIRST TIME! We went to the Utah College of Massage Therapy (it was two for one) and I was a little skeptical when I saw my massage therapist...he looked a little scary....but it was WONDERFUL! And it was great because Ryan had put us on the list earlier so we just walked right in! I think I'll be going there in again for sure. Next we headed down to the mall in Provo. We did some shopping and headed to a movie. We'd already seen every new movie except for 17Again, which we both had wanted to see. After the movie we did some more shopping and then headed to dinner at the Olive Garden in American Fork. We headed home after dinner to watch the Laker/Nugget game and when I walked in the door, there was this:

My new addiciton!
Lately I've been feeling crafty. No idea why. I think mostly it's because I came upon this website UCreate. I LOVE these tutorials for things that I've seen selling for 30 to 40 dollars that I can EASILY make for less than 10 or 15 bucks! I just made this:
These I've seen for sale at a kiosk in the mall...and they're SO easy. The tutorial is here.

My Mother
I have been so blessed in my life to have such a wonderful mother. She is one of my best friends and I love everything about her. She's the best example to me of what I hope I can be when I do have children. Thank you mom for all you have done and will do.
I'm also blessed to have a wonderful Mother-in-law that has raised a wonderful son and has always shown nothing but love and kindness to me. I love you, thank you.
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers, with or with-out children!
